Hi, I am Meredith, let me introduce myself:

I grew up in small towns throughout Idaho but moved to Salt Lake to finish schooling.  I would miss the small town community that I grew up with and always wanted to go back.  While road tripping with my husband, we came across the quaint town of Fairview and we have fell in love with it.  This valley is beautiful and takes my breath away every day.  We decided to move here so that I can bring the small town values and sense of community to our family.

My Practice

Working closely with my clients, we will identify goals and skills to help reduce symptoms and start healing. I believe that you can rewrite your story, I use multiple modalities to fit each person. My entire approach to therapy is fitting the needs to my clients, everyone responds differently so I have learned and practiced many different approaches. I am passionate about creating a safe and connecting environment, and meeting my clients on their level and on their terms.

My specialties include: anxiety, depression, trauma, couples therapy, and addictions issues.

My trainings include: EMDR, EFT, Mind-Body Bridging, DBT, CBT, Attachment.

Life transitions can be scary and difficult to navigate alone. Using proven and effective means, I work with heterosexual couples, same sex couples, and couples in ethical non-monogamous relationships to navigate the sometimes-murky waters of life transitions that may feel difficult to navigate alone. I specialize in Trauma, ineffective communication styles, affairs, parenting differences and/or challenges, intimacy concerns and attachment injuries; all of which can create conflict with the person we love the most in this world.

I understand that TRAUMA can have an incredible and sometimes very painful impact on life and on current relationships. Clearing trauma, does not take away traumatic memories, it simple turns a “traumatic memory” into a “memory...” a memory which no longer holds a charge, and therefore, no longer has power over the ability to lead a healthy, happy life.

My goal is to help individuals and couples learn to communicate in ways that foster connection and intimacy. Being vulnerable with the one we love can feel scary at times. However, it is through the ability to be vulnerable that emotional safety is created. Emotional safety leads to deeper connection, which is a UNIVERSAL NEED and what all human beings crave
